Eco-Friendly Fabrics
Mothers En Vogue fabrics are made from very durable fabrics that stand the test of time, and always have a flattering fit. Here are the fabrics that are used by Mothers En Vogue:
- Cotton – cotton is a natural fibre that is great for nursing clothing since it is very soft, breathable and has great absorbancy.
- Modal – modal fabric is a light weight and fabulously soft fabric that drapes beautifully. It is very absorbant (50% more absorbant than cotton) and durable fabric, and does not easily fade or pill and is resistant to shrinking. Made from 100% natural timber (cellulose of beech trees), creating a 100% natural fibre.
Mothers En Vogue also has an Eco-collection which uses the following eco-friendly fabrics:
- Organic Cotton – organic cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals. Organic Cotton is an earth-friendly fabric that feels as good as it is for the environment.
- Bamboo – bamboo is a great earth concious fabric for nursing wear. It is naturally anti-bacterial and is breathable and silky soft on the skin. Bamboo is sustainable fabric since it is quick growing, and had the advantage of not usually requiring pesticides or herbicides to thrive.
